This Tuesday, February 18, in Mexico City and in 18 surrounding municipalities of the State of Mexico, the Hoy No Circula program will be implemented. It is specified that vehicles with pink stickers, license plates ending in 7 and 8, as well as holograms 1 or 2, will not be allowed to circulate and must remain at home.
The measure applies in the 16 boroughs of Mexico City and in municipalities such as Atizapán de Zaragoza, Coacalco de Berriozábal, Cuautitlán, Cuautitlán Izcalli, Chalco, Chicoloapan, among others. It is important to note that there will be no double Hoy No Circula for this Tuesday, as there are no alerts for poor air quality issued by the Environmental Commission of the Megalopolis.
Regarding the cars that can circulate this Tuesday, February 18, they include electric vehicles, hybrids, those with ecological plates or exempt-type holograms, as well as those with holograms '00' or '0'. Also authorized are private vehicles from the health sector, school transport, funeral processions, funeral services, cars for disabled persons with the corresponding permit, public passenger and tourism service vehicles, motorcycles with a valid Tourist Pass, and cars with red, blue, yellow, and green stickers.
